I love the picture of Will and John. My two favorite broadway stars :)

I am also very sad that High Fidelity is closing. It is a great show. Poor Will, he just can't catch a break

I love that picture of Will and John.
Will Chase is one of my favorite actors ever. (as is John)
I agree, it is too bad that High Fidelity is closing, I wanted to see it.

I'm seeing Jersey Boys a week from today!
hooray!!

I got a card in the mail today, too! It made me happy to see it after a long day. It's really sweet of him to be sending cards out to fans.

About High Fidelity- it's always sad when a show closes so early. The cast was excited for the opening and then they're hit with the news that they're closing.

I also think Will Chase is very talented. He'll find his show...

Emily- I hope you have fun at the show. Make sure to tell us everything about it.

Mollie-I wouldn't worry yet. Especially since you just sent it out Saturday, I'm guessing that John didn't get it till at least Monday or Tuesday. I would expect it back sometime next week, probably. He's always really good with writing back quickly.

The picture of John and Will is great. I think it's sad that the show is closing so soon, I was expecting it to run for a couple of months at the least.

No problem, Mollie. Always glad to help.

Christine- I totally agree. But the good news is, that the show's apparently still getting a cast recording! At least we'll have that. :o)

I am so excited about some events John is going to be participating in, including Darlene Love's holiday show!

And Rockers on Broadway, Jersey Style, sounds AWESOME. I'm envious of those who will attend in January!

Welcome to everyone who just join the thread!

Wow Mollie that picture is great! Could you post that in a comment on the jersey boys myspace page?

Happy Friday, everyone! And good to hear you're back, Kathryn. :o) Found some JB-related stuff that I thought was pretty neat:

From BWW:

"Christian Hoff to Set a Guinness World Record?

Christian Hoff, who won a 2006 Tony Award (Best Featured Actor) for his role as Tommy DeVito in the hit musical Jersey Boys, recently completed the audio book entitled Tell Me How You Love The Picture, written by Academy Award Nominee Edward S. Feldman.

"Known as the man of many voices, Hoff expects to set a Guinness World Record for Most Character Voices in an Audio Book-Individual. Next week in London, the producers of the audio book will be submitting the documents supporting Christian. This four-time nominee, who has received rave reviews for his Broadway performance, feels very honored by this distinction," press notes state.

Hoff, who made his Broadway debut in The Who's Tommy, was also recently seen in the Actors' Fund benefit concert of The Best Little Whorehouse in TX. Regional credits include Dames at Sea, South Pacific and Camelot, and he has also toured in Jesus Christ Superstar.

Visit www.christianhoff.com for more information."

And there was also an article about Daniel's concert (which you can read here: https://www.broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=14395), with a new picture:

Daniel looks great, huh?

Plus, John updated his blog! I was actually going to download the SA album today...now I'm even more excited for it. :o) Alright, well I'm off to do some cleaning before people come over for Hanukkah

. Have a great day, guys!

Hello all! Two more weeks minus two days until I see JB! I changed my MySpace headline to some of the lyrics to the song Be my Baby by The Ronettes.

I mailed my gift/ornament to John today. I hope he likes it. I made it myself. I heard some of you got cards from him. I sure don't need one. I've gotten plenty of surprises from him.

Plus he's probably tired of giving me stuff.

Just kidding!

Today I ate a lot, the teahers gave us too much food! So I'm sugar high. Beware!

Good job on getting the great grade Erin! I got all B's, except for one F in Algebra... :x Good luck with the applications.

That's an interesting article on Christian. :)

I got the Dreamgirls movie soundtrack today [I came so close to buying Spring Awakening] and it's really good. I wasn't a big fan of Beyoncé's before this, but she's pretty good in this.

Thanks Christne! The applications aren't as bad to fill out. It's the essay thats the issue. I want to finish by the end of next week. Syracuse wants the application by Jan 1st so I have to finish soon. I just have to fill out the essay, short response and do their supplment and I will be done.

Hey everyone! I'm gonna be here for a week! Also I'm gonna get a makeover just in time before I see JB. I'm gonna get a hair cut and this is the nightmare right here....I'm gonna have my eyebrows waxed! Ah!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't wanna! Shannon wants me to look beautiful when I see the show. Well, Shannon, do you got 50 bucks? lol! If any of you have had your eyesbrows waxed, can you tell me does it hurt or does it feel good?

"Awww! Boo!"

I get my eyebrows waxed once a month. It takes all of like 5 minutes and the sting goes away seconds after it is done. Obviously it is going to hurt a little because you are ripping hair out of your skin, but it is soooo worth it. Don't be scared :)

I don't get out of school until Friday either. All this week, waiting to get out, is going to be horrible.

Like Andrea said, getting your eyebrows waxed does hurt, but it doesn't last long. It's sort of like getting your ears pierced. You think it's going to hurt, but when it happens all you feel is a little bit of pain.

I just read a review of the JB tour. They loved it.
But I don't understand this part:

>In the second act, when Valli becomes the lead singer and “The Star” the hits just keep on coming. There is “Rag Doll”, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, and “Will You Love Me Tomorrow.” Total, there are over fifty songs in the musical. Every one of them a towering, memorable achievement.

"Will You Love Me Tomorrow"--what song is that? And I thought JB only had 27 songs, not 50. If JLY had to sing 50 songs a night, man, his job would even be twice as hard.
