Just because I came across this picture.
Did you love her more in The Courtship of Eddie's Father or Flower Drum Song?
Loved her in Mister Eddies Faddah.
Just to make this thread a little more surreal: The show Truman Capote can't get on the air"...say WHAT?

well I'm more familiar with Courtship of Eddie's Father and liked her in that show. Liked the show too. I was about 12 when it first aired.
I've only seen it in re-runs. Don't remember much of it except for that theme song which ended with a bunch of "nonesense" like they couldn't find anymore lyrics for the song...

I came across that image years ago when AndyHardy purchased that LP in a record store. You should hear her rendition of "Jeepers Creepers".
I've only seen her in FDS, but she's QUITE adorable :0)
My second favorite R&H musical film is FLOWER DRUM SONG, and it's high time it was released on DVD!
She's exquisite in FLOWER DRUM SONG. I hope that off screen she wasn't a gum-chewing, hard-drinking, foul-mouthed tramp with a Brooklyn accent.
You ain't no tramp, honey. You got COUTH.
Bumping for Miyoshi.

I have NO problem with Mr. Bixby coming along for the ride!
There was a report that Ms. Umeki has 'vanished'. The producers of the revival of FDS wanted to invite her to opening night and no one could find her or a contact for her.
The sassy Pat Suzuki lives in NYC on the UWS. How about her as MAME? And why not? :)
