Damn right. If I have the money, I'm going to NYC to see DRS for my birthday in August.
I mean, come on, what better way to spend your 21st birthday than in NYC, seeing your favorite Broadway actor on stage right before you and making you laugh your ass off??
Nothing, I think.
The day I saw Wicked was his first day out from that back injury. *pouts*
Sad! So you saw Taye instead?
No, I saw Kristoffer. This was pre-Taye. It was like... Thanksgiving-ish.
Ooooh. How was he? I think I've heard audio of him and Eden singing ALAYM but I'm not sure. It probably is him because it's not Norbert and it doesn't sound like Derrick.
I liked him a lot. Granted, I thought Joey Mac was "masculine" in comparison, so take what you will from that about Kristoffer, but he's a talented guy.
Well, the fact that I found out Kristoffer played Angel once in Rent definitely made me raise an eyebrow..
Excited? I'm only counting the minutes until the curtain rises on Monday night.
You'll certainly have to come back and let us know how it was.
You know I will.
Do I even need to come back? We all know its gonna be dynamite. The song on the Today Show....oh, god!
Indeed. Norbert looked tired, but it was cool that he could get up all that energy for the song like that out of nowhere.
I did fell kinda bad for Lithgow--Norbert sang him under the proverbial table.

To say the least. *Wince*
Hey, what John lacks in singing he more than makes up for with his excellent comedic skills.
And for someone who isn't the best singer, he keeps getting casts in musicals, and often wins prestigious awards.
Yeah, true. I'd probably be sent to hell in a handbasket if I said I hope and think Norbert will be the one winning the awards though, right? Ha.
I don't think so. Norbert has the better chance of the two of them, I think. They will both probably lose to Tim Curry anyway.
Ack! Don't say that! That's my biggest fear right now. *Covers eyes*
I just love his talking voice.......Mmmmmmmm
You have to admit that "Spamalot" will probably steamroll like "Producers" did in 2001, leaving a trail of shows that are just as good in the dust.
Oh, the Tony discussion. Unfortunately that Spamalot cast is going to kill the chances for Norbert AND my Raul. *cries*
NonoNO! I REFUSE to believe this is going to be another The Full Monty case. WILL NOT HAPPEN. *Grumble*
What happened there? I know Patrick lost, but to who?
And you KNOW the big stars are going to beat them out... again.

I love Norbert! I'm seeing DRS on Feb 26 at the 2pm show.

Nathan Lane
I hope you weren't overly surprised, Thes. It was either going to be Nathan or Matthew. I'm surprised they weren't considered together, like Emily Skinner and Alice Ripley.
