how'd i discover norbert. hm.....i think the first time i heard about wicked. I did a little research (yes i'm a dork) and learned that he was in rent. so i got tickets to see wicked for christmas...only to find out that Taye was in for him because he was injured. But then i got tickets to go again and he was there. He blew me away. And...he's so DAMN nice!!!!!!

I'm so happy to see a Norbie Love Thread. :)
I discovered Norbert through a friend, who got me hooked on Wicked (and later, L5Y) last fall. Over time Dancing Through Life and As Long As You're Mine became my favorite songs from the show. His voice is distinctive, absolutely GORGEOUS and he brought considerable charisma and charm to a woefully underwritten role in Fiyero. But I'd say I *fell in love* with him through The Last Five Years, an addictive recording if there ever was one. He was phenomenal in that show.
I admire how quirky, different, original, and simply brilliant he is. On pure talent and personality alone Norbert's lovable but fortunately he's also nice to gaze at. LOL. What's not to love?
I'm enjoying the discussion. Carry on...

I saw the dress of DRS today and with that performance, I lustily add myself to this thread!!! He deserves a Tony he is so damn good in this. And, yes, girls and boys--he is shirtless in this show and it is YU. UM. MY. Grrrrr!
