Aw, he was a super fox to the end. I remember when he was in that Psycho remake and he was old and still fine as hell.

Not to speak ill of the departed, but wasn't he the one who referred to his wife as his property, prompting Lily Tomlin to walk off the set of whatever talk show they were on?

Yes that was him. He referred to his dog, horse and wife as his "property". I think it was the Dick Cavett show.

Wow! I never heard that story about calling his wife property. They were married for 45 years before she passed away.

Fun fact, Chad Everett had chronic cowlicks which his hairstylist tried to mitigate by leaving to super long strips of hair down the back of his neck. The tried to keep it under the collar of his shirts, but unlike Lee Majors, Everett actually moved his head while acting so the strips kept popping out.

You can see it clearly on Medical Center.

This has been another "So Now You Know with FindingNamo."

Chad in Mulholland Drive
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

He was might purty, though. And stayed that way for a very long time.

Well sh*t! Chad Everett's dead too?? Damn. I was a big Medical Center fan as a kid too, supportivemom.

I wrote him a fan letter when I was a kid and got a photo post card back. Not sure what happened to it. May have been autosigned anyhow. I was a dumb kid, I didn't know the difference either way. Just remember how excited I was to get it in the mail.

I didn't hear/see it, so just askin' here: Is it possible the wife/property comment was a joke? Sometimes my husband has joked that he paid ten bucks for me. That's because he paid for the marriage license, and it cost ten dollars. I know, super dumb joke. But he doesn't really believe he owns me. My gosh. Besides everyone knows I own him. That's a fact. ha (See how I added a "ha" there?)

Anyway, RIP, Chad.
