actually, that's not quite right, bway. santorum's numbers among the faithful are now and have always been strong. they're bringing in giuliani to try to shore up the moderates where rickie's getting killed. but he's got it down to 11 points which is as close as it's been at any time since july of '05. i mean even i was writing this one off as a lost cause a few months ago. bringing in rudy's not a sign of desperation, but one of hope.
yeah, pj, if ya really believed it you'd put money on it. but you know in your heart of hearts that this will turn around and you'll be left railing about voting maachines and dirty tricks as another election cycle leaves your boys and girls on the outside looking in.

I saw Rev. Tinky-Winky say this weekend that there's no way he would support Rudy, although he did mention his adoration for McCain (urp!). Meanwhile, WingNutDaily has been publishing photos to remind us of Rudy's drag displays.
Give it up, Rudy. They're never going to like you, and you don't want to end up with Santorum on your hands.

It's not about betting for me. This kind of pleasure should be writtern with dollar bills.
I'm just enjoying every minute of Republican debasement and self-immolation. It's so gratifying after all these years of watching them corrupt the country.
First we get rid of McClellan, then Rumsfeld, then Rove, then Cheney, then Bush. Not to mention all those wonderfully criminal Republican congressional leaders!
Not a decent man or woman in the bunch!
Putting money on it would spoil it--turn it into a sport, like horseracing or cock-fighting.
It's BIGGER than that. It's HUGE. It's IMMENSE. We're watching Karma unfold--first Nixon and Reagan POISONED the Republican party by selling its soul to Religious Bigots--and then Gingrich and Cheney and Rove turned it into pure unadulterated EVIL by scapegoating gays, lying to get into an illegal war and betraying CIA agents for petty political revenge.
So now, it's like we're watching the final act of a Wagnerian tragedy move relentlessly toward the Gotterdamerung of the GOP.
