I just heard about Birdie too! Man...I wish I could go! My friend went and loved it and is going back (she was just accepted). But I have to stay home this summer or I would be doing OCU.
I hear it is a very demanding program that starts at 9AM and goes till rehearsals at night. And that's what I like is the training they give with the show.
Anyone going?

does age matter?
I think it's high school age..freshmen thru senior (but ones who will be seniors in the fall and not graduating now).
I got in! The auditions for Birdie are the first two days of camp. So they aren't casting the show right now...at least I don't think
My teacher received a letter from OCU today about the high school music theater program...sounds absoolluutley cool. It said they were offering scholarships for men music theater performers. So a couple of guys are applying. I guess there are some big male parts in Birdy. I think they are still looking for men so call them up if you want to go to OCU.
My best friend Lindsey got in too!!! I'm so pumped!

Hey i'm lindsey, triplethreat101's friend! I'm going to OCU this suummer and I can't wait!
How cool that both you guys are going.
My friend Sarah wanted to go this year to OCU but has to go to Europe instead (yeahh boo hoo! :).
She went to CMU last year and said is was over rated and way to expensive for what it gave students. The OCU program seems a lot better and cheaper!
thats really good to know. Because I had EVERYTHING filled out for the CMU thing, my teacher rec's, my essay EVERYTHING and I chickened out b/c it was so long, and I decided to go to OCU and I feel REALLY good about it!
