I am auditioning this afternoon for three shows: Grapes of Wrath, Oklahoma and Lysistrata. However you cant do both lysistrat and oklahoma. Now I am a black male so there is practically no role for me in oklahoma, and speaking with the director he has said that if im ok doing drag that he would like me to be in lysistrata as a "big role" as he put it, he wouldn't give the name of the character though. Sooo if put in this dilemma where you could be in oklahoma but it would most likely be as cornstalk #3, or have a nice sized role in Lysistrata???
If your ok with being in drag, Lysistrata. It would look better on a resume than Oklahoma. Also, in Greek drama there were no women playing women's roles. It was always men in drag. You'd be doing the play in its original form.

Just because your black, doesnt mean there isnt a role for you in "Oklahoma"...
Have you seen Broadways revival cast for that production a few years back? It was pretty diverse.
And btw, Im African American, and got cast in that show.
:)
Race doesnt really matter in "Oklahoma". If youre talented, they will cast you.
You will probably have at least twenty more times to audition for Oklahoma!, but Lysistrata not so much.
In the end though, just go with your gut. Break a leg
