Anyone here ever see her in "In This our Life"? I love her as Roy in that film, playing the long suffering sister of Bette Davis, who plays a terribly selfish younger sister who takes whatever she wants, regardless of the consequences.

Besides the favorites already mentioned above, I adore her role in "Hold Back the Dawn" with Charles Boyer and Paulette Goddard. Her role as a schoolteacher falling for Boyer while trapped in Mexico with a broken down car is great to watch.

I think her greatest performance is in The Snake Pit.
