I must say - besides the drama that takes place here, the teenies that sometimes take over. This place has got to be the best place to talk about Theatre!
I have been on other musical boards. With one in particular. Where the people are absolutely the rudest people I've encountered on a message board. And they always have something nasty to say about BWW. Some say everyone here are all "freaks". I'm not too sure I should mention what board I'm talking about. But they are extremely rude people, and make me realize what a pleasant experience this board ususally is! I will say the board I'm talking about is NOT All That Chat.
So I guess this thread is a BWW appreciation thread. I want to thank everyone who has made this board such an educating, and pleasant experience for me. I expect some enjoyable, and educating times to come here.

I've never been to Datalounge but I've heard it's just a bunch of bitter never-beens.

I don't really want to play a guessing game which board I'm talking about.
This is an appreciation thread for BWW - and I don't feel comfortable saying which board I'm talking about. If you want to know that bad, just PM me. I just don't want to say it in public, I know it sounds weird lol. Just respect my choice.

Is RAMT still around? That place was full of elitist crap. It was the first board I ever read years ago and if you didn't post something that sounded like a Theatre History textbook, you were treated like a moron. No one had any respect for other opinions and only the most popular members were deemed to be correct about anything. It was horrible.
I tried ATC, but got bored very quickly. I've been a regular on Dress Circle since 1999, but the dynamic has changed so much, I don't post much there any more. Well, that and I haven't been to London in 4 years, so I'm not as familiar with the shows. I probably won't be around there much longer.
