"There are no cell phones in Hell, and no Ipods in Hell. Just wailing and the gnashing of teeth."
There are, however, ample Kidz Bop CDs.
i'm kinda starting to think that cellphones and ipods ARE hell
What did we do before cell phones ?
How about having a little privacy & the realization that at certain times you could not be reached & you had privacy ?
I Pods ? I still use a cassette player
what i dont like is that other people's cell phones invade my privacy... public bathrooms anyone? I find this the most annoying when someone in a stall down yonder gets a call and then yaps away like it's a freaking phone booth
They just make life harder for the worrier. Remember on a weekend when you would dial someone's number, not get an answer and automatically think that they weren't home? Now you dial their cell phone. If they don't pick up, you have to wonder if they are avoiding you. And on the flip side, it used to be that if someone called you, you didn't have to pick up. They would probably assume you are out. But now they call your cell phone. Then you feel guilty for not picking up. It sucks to be a worrier.

Before cell phones there were beepers. They were also annoying. Also, people who use cell phones in the bathroom are disgusting.

Cell phones crawling with germs
MANCHESTER, England, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Microbiologists say the handling of cell phones and the heat they generate make them a breeding ground for tens of thousands of microbes on each square inch.
Researchers found that cell phones can harbor microbes such as Staphylococcus aureus, of which some strains are capable of producing a highly heat-stable protein toxin that causes illness in humans. It is also a close relative of the superbug Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, a type of bacteria that is resistant to certain antibiotics.
The cell phone can contain more microbes than a toilet seat, the sole of a shoe or a door handle, according to the researchers.
"Mobile phones are stored in bags or pockets, are handled frequently and held close to the face," Joanna Verran, professor of microbiology at Manchester Metropolitan University, told the Daily Mail.
"In other words, they come into contact with more parts of our body and a wider range of bacteria than toilet seats. The phones contained more skin bacteria than any other object. This could be due to the fact that this type of bacteria increase in high temperatures and our phones are perfect for breeding these germs as they are kept warm and cozy in pockets, handbags and briefcases."

I don't know if flushing would bother them because people who use their cell in the bathroom have no shame or consideration for others to begin with.
