Is the BFA in MT official and accredited yet? I know someone who was looking into it last year and it wasn't at that time. If it is now, the program is obviously very new. I know that the dance and voice classes were not held at Pace itself, but elsewhere in the city. Try checking on College Confidential for details. If the information is anywhere, it's there.
Are you sure your friend was looking into PACE University? I didnt know that the BFA in MT wasnt accredited ever.. My son goes there for Theatre Directing (well starts in 1.5 weeks).
This is the University that Inside the Actors Studio takes place. My son doesnt take any classes off campus.
I do agree, check with College Confidential, thats a great resource. From everything I know, heard and experienced so far with Pace, it has an excellent theatre program in both MT and straight acting.

The link above is to an interview with Amy Rogers, the head of our MT department at Pace. She covers a vast amount of information in this interview, which I believe will help to answer most of your questions- at least the ones regarding the MT dept. If you have further detailed questions, send me a private message and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible, or you can post the message here and another Pace student could get back to you.
My friend is looking at Pace (he wants to transfer there next fall) and visited a few weeks ago. He really liked it and will be applying there for MT.
