POTO 25th - iTunes - Gifting?

I own the POTO 25th Anniversary, purchased from iTunes, on my Mac. I'm trying to "gift" it to someone through iTunes. There's no option to "Gift This Movie", only to "Rent HD Movie" or "Rent Movie".

I have signed out, only to get the same 2 options.

I have tried to purchase through my iPhone (where the movie is not uploaded - and signed out of iTunes) with no luck.

Suggestions?

I don't think that's how it works? I thought gifting something meant you were buying it from itunes for someone else. I've never heard of being able to gift something that you already own to someone via itunes.

ETA - I think I misread your message, so never mind!

E(again)TA- I was just looking at iTunes and I don't see the gifting option for any movies. Maybe it's just music and apps.

I think you're out of luck, because it looks like the video isn't even available for purchase at all anymore, which is why you can't gift it to anyone. If it were available to gift, you'd be able to select it by clicking that arrow on the right side of the rent buttons.

If you can't get it through iTunes, it is available on Amazon Instant Video.
