I believe the SATs are a joke. Didn't Bush get in the 1200s on the SAT, and look how "smart" he is. SATs can't say who you are as a person. I thought going to college was/should be determined by your school record, extracurricular (sp?) activities, your essay(s) and whatnot. The SATs just give rich kids who happen to live in wealthy neighborhoods where they spend an arm and leg on education the opportunity to make them look better than everyone else...because they have the chance to get 1300 or higher on their SAT.

The new SATs are meant to measure accomplishment more than natural aptitude. What exactly is your philosophical argument against that?

There's "to the point" and there's "leaving things unexplained." If your teacher is always giving you the same advice there's a good chance that advice will improve your writing.

Then again, writing was never my problem. *hides from the math*
