Homosexuals who support Sarah Palin. Tell me, is thee ANYTHING more pathetic and Disgusting???

"You betcha. Ben Smith at Politico has a piece up about Sarah Palin's book tour stop in Western Michigan, and aside from his showing that it truly is a campaign rally rather than a book signing, there are a couple of interesting observations re: the fans. One man notes that Palin is for "putting the homos back in the closet," and, sure enough, minutes later a security guard tells another man who is wearing a "Homos for Palin" t-shirt that he's got to "zip it up" or leave"

I was going to ask why you'd want to pad the cell, but it's clear that's out of consideration for the boar.

Romantico, I know your subject line is the same as the headline of the article linked to, but they're both a little misleading, making it sound like Palin said the words in quotes:

"The event also drew its share of more ideological conservatives. Bob Weinert, 56, a fencing salesman from Lansing, said he’d heard Rush Limbaugh say recently that Palin is “the most conservative candidate out there.” She represents, he said, “limited government and traditional values,” including “putting homos back in the closet"..."

So actually, Palin didn't say it, and we're not even sure Limbaugh said it (though it wouldn't surprise me if he did). We just know that Bob, the 56 year old fencing salesman from Lansing said he did.

Palin has shown herself as a hypocrite and a loon. No need to gild the lily.

I go with the book ad. At least you have to click on the trailer to really see it. That ad is there no matter if you want to see it or not. BLAH!

They'd just say they didn't have control over the ads. They use a service or whatever. I think with a site like this, with many sensitive issues for its large gay client base, they should pay better attention to that. But this site is run by straight dudes so what do they care?

I don't see those ads. You guys should install AdBlockerPlus. It;s free. The ads you're seeing are not from BroadwayWorld. AdBlockPlus tell me they're from GoogleSyndication.com, GoogleAdServices.com, atdmt.com or QuantServe.com

But all I see on the right is the BWW TV box, an ad for BananaShpeel, the BWW Discounts box and the BWW Blogs box.

They have cared enough in the past to track down ads that were complained about and have them removed. Your criticism is unwarranted and reflects on you, not them.

I read this the other day, and sort of had a knee-jerk reaction and then sort of landed feeling about it the ghostlight does. I mean, I LIKE that this has been attributed to her, but she didn't crap in this particular Johnny on the Spot of crazy.

I'm starting to think that she's the distraction and that there's something even more horrifying waiting in the wings.

ALso, if you're getting ads about Sarah Palin on a thread about Sarah Palin, I would just assume the software tries to do that, like gmail does when you are talking about faculty recommendation letters and suddenly the side has ads for cover letters and something called "life leads."

Oh sorry Phyllis that was directed at Q's comment not yours.

YOu (Q)can say they use aN ad agent and they don't know what's on the ad agent and they will remove it if they see it but it shouldn't happen period. That's my opinion, I'm entitled to it, and you're entitled to yours. But just because I think opposite doesn't have anything to do with my character. It has to do with my morals and how I think businesses should be run. Especially those with a large gay client base.

What I pointed out is that they HAVE responded in the past to raised concerns, which flies completely in the face of your statement.

Of course you can say anything you want - and as long as you make statemetns like that, it will reflect on you.
