"I think Papa would love this nut talk."
Probably more than he'd care to admit
hmmm, how nice to come home from work and find a warmhearted thread like this awaiting me.
curiously, i still see no indictments. that's not to say they're not coming tomorrow (let's all sing it now). but as usual, pj's demonstrated his uncanny ability for premature speculation.
if i had the time and inclination i could dig up a few points where others have failed to make ammends when their speculation has proved unfounded. but then, i'm not a petty vindictive mental juvenile with the wit of a dishrag. it's easy to find the places where i've accepted blame when wrong, one of them famously was a siggie for a now absent poster for quite some time.
i have no web cam, doggies. don't know who you've been talking to, but mine broke many moons ago (long before the fun of nov. '04) and was never replaced. if you'd like to send me one i won't refuse delivery.
as luck would have it, i won't have access to the internet tomorrow at all until the wee hours (oh for the good old days of hours of free time to post, working on broadway shows and running into eddie varley on the subway), so any attempts to impugn my honor will go unread until at least 10 or 11, if then. convenient, i know, but i never have access during the day while i'm at work, the psychos worry that i might sneak a moment of free time into the underpaid and overworked day. after that it's off to the philharmonic rehearsal. if i have a chance i'll try to pop in during that if i can. if not, i'd say i'll be thinking of you, but i won't.
regardless of how things turn out, it's nice to see that those who bewail their status as victims never miss a chance to show their true colors.

that was a joke, papa...I'd think you were old enough to remember those...
if i didn't would i still be posting around here?
You wouldn't be the only humorless poster.

True, papa - TOO true!
Lildogs - papa is many things to many people - but he's never humorless.
Well, I don't know how funny it is, but it is flowery. I never really know who or what he's REALLY talking about anyway. I like zingers, not so much with the Julia Sugarbaker-esque diatribes. Not that there's anything wrong with Julia.
VictimSchmictim, eat THIS!
If I had a nickel for every time you said that! Considering I usually get three cents...
hmmm, and i'm the humorless one? remember, pj, pride goeth before a fall.
I didn't say you were humorless, papa. The implied meaning was that if you were humorless, you wouldn't be alone. Sorry, I must've had a moonbat moment. My jokes can't all be funny.
