AND? We're waiting...all I hear is tap-dancing...
Papa is great with cockles. He has a very light touch.
ok, lil. let's look at that post of mine.

never gonna happen.
just curious, when that list proves to be grossly innaccurate and wildly misinformed, more the product of yet another solo masturbatory fantasy than any semblance of reality, will it just disappear without comment? or will those who ascribe anything other than a teenaged girl's giddiness to it accept the base foolishness of their faith in it? or more likely will it be discarded save for any ability it has to prove that the gop is the party of evil and must vbe destroyed at all costs (as if anyone hanging onto that bandwagon that's careening toward the abyss has any need of proof...of anything).
now my post was in response to a post by your patron saint, pj, which i'll now re-post for comparison.
re: will scott mcclelland take the fall?
posted on:7/19/05 at 11:15 am
who "takes the fall" is up to the independent investigator and the grand jury and whom they decide to indict.
my indictment guesses are:
mcclelland: nothing
ari fleischer: perjury, obstruction of justice
rove: identities act, perjury, obstruction of justice, conspiracy (rico)
libby: identities act, perjury, obstruction of justice, conspiracy (rico)
condi: perjury
cheney: perjury, obstruction of justice
john bolton: espionage act, perjury, conspiracy (rico)
judy miller: criminal contempt
bush will pardon all but judy miller.
now based on those two posts. who should be eating crow? how many of those on pj's list have been indicted? and for what? and he's feeding me crow?
*edit* mister matt you are such a hunnybunny!
My cockles are smokin'!

*ahem* It's worth noting the investigation's not over yet.
got something caught in your throat? if not i can help.
yes, it's not over, yet, but i was feeling puckish.
mister matt you just love saying "cockles"!

Anyway, I'd still be shocked as hell if this made it up to Cheney and especially Condi. I think Miller might be tossed aside now that she's given up her info; she was just the means to an end. And I don't think Fleischer will get indicted, either. I think it could be Bolton or Rove, but I would, once again, be surprised if it was both. But that's just me.
Cockles is such a great word. And I know how you feel about my cockles.
hee hee
cockles...
Pardon me, boys,
Is the the Hubris Train Choo-Choo?
Track 29, and you can kiss mine!
I kind of like the word cockles as well.
It is not over yet. Who knows what will happen with all of the folks taking pleas, the second grand jury, and everything seeming to hit the fan.
I just have no idea who will eventually get indicited and/or when.
But, I do like the word cockles.
That one deserves two snaps, a twist, and an indictment just on pinciple alone!
That makes me want to vomit.
I don't really care what you think or say papa, because you will never concede even a tiny point...which is fine. You're certainly free to think and say whatever you choose and frequently do.
If you got the bigger picture, as you have yet to do in any post I've ever read, is that there is quite obviously some wrongdoing in The White House and if the roles were reversed and we were in a Dem Admin's Plamegate, you'd be foaming at the mouth, instead of just spanking it to Mister Matt's pic.
that makes me want to vomit.
with luck you'll do so on your keyboard and spare us for a bit from these insipid posts.
i don't really care what you think or say papa,
ok if this were in fact true you would not waste so much valuable time on my posts.
because you will never concede even a tiny point...which is fine.
which tiny point was not conceded? seven idictments were prophesied, five of them on multiple counts, and only one materialized. one would have thought that most of the administration were in shackles by the way this thread was trumpeted. but the fact is there's been one indictment. which pretty much puts me at the advantage in prognistication at this point.
if you got the bigger picture...
this was a specific response to a specific post.
as you have yet to do in any post i've ever read
i can suggest some good remedial reading comprehension courses that might help you.
is that there is quite obviously some wrongdoing in the white house
now that's quite a clear and concrete accusation.
and if the roles were reversed and we were in a dem admin's plamegate, you'd be foaming at the mouth
not unless i'd been bit by a rabid monkey.
instead of just spanking it to mister matt's pic.
actually as dashing as mister matt is he's not really my type. wrong plumbing, don't y'know. but if "spanking it" was a goal, i wouldn't have to rely on his pic since i've actually met him and spent time with him and his equally dashing partner. the reality beats a photo.
ever feel like ya brought a knife to a gunfight, li'l yapper?
The vomit was at seeing The Shrub with Cheney...
As for your play by play, it's cute. I know humor isn't one of the Repub's salient characteristics, but you did your best.
And, as I noted, you couldn't have been any more "small pictured," even breaking down the post.
If I need to explain everything I've written, I'll be more than happy to comply, I'm sitting at a boring temp job with nothing better to do.
Are you honestly sitting at your keyboard and typing that the Bushies have done NOTHING wrong? In my staunchest Clinton moments I would NEVER claim that he was blameless or completely innocent.
As for your gun/knife "joke" which isn't a joke since you heard it in a movie, nice try.
So, to recap:
Vomit-from poster
Valuable time-not so much
Tiny point--you are the queen, I mean king...
Remedial reading-funny, coming from one who's never used a shift key
Rabid monkey--well, I'll leave that one alone...
What I was trying to say is that it makes no difference what anyone who disagrees with you says, does, or provides a link to; you won't budge, which in its own way is a virtue I suppose, not to me, but GW would be proud.
are you honestly sitting at your keyboard and typing that the bushies have done nothing wrong?
hmmm, i don't recall saying that. please confine your attacks to things i've actually said rather than those which you've merely imagined.
wait, so anything that's ever been said on film has been rendered humorless? what a sad view.
since as you already admitted about my posts, "i never really know who or what he's really talking about anyway," maybe you'd be better served avoiding them, rather than trying to swim in the deep end without your floaties. remember that i'm not the one who makes vague accusations. nor am i the one who lumps all persons who disagree with their point of view into a single category (remember the words "you all look alike to me"?).
going after the fact that i choose not to use capital letters? that's what yer bringing? ok. will the rubber/glue clause be invoked soon? or will you go straight to mother jokes?
as far as admitting i'm wrong? i've never had any trouble admitting any error i make. i've done so plenty on this board. the difference between us is, i am much more tolerant of those with whom i disagree than you seem to be. so, as far as your insiniuations about my failure to come around to your way of seeing things i think i'll stick with my way.
Well, as has been said, the investigation is not over.
And, all of these Republicans now feigning shock over indictments on such things like perjury and lying to federal officials seemed pretty happy to point to these same laws to attack Bill Clinton and incarcerate Martha Stewart - whose only conviction was for lying to a federal official WHEN SHE WAS NOT EVEN UNDER OATH.
I wonder how even this playing field will really be?
There are plenty of fine Republicans, I am sure of it. None of them happen to be associated with Karl Rove, George Bush, or Dick Cheney.
Onwards to '06 and taking back the house. Then the real fun will start.

ywiw, the hypocrisy is nothing new. it's the dc disco, whoever is in power is always "shocked, shocked, to find that there is gambling going on in here."

Wait...you mean the PR-oriented lie? Way to ruin my childhood.
Yes, but the Democrats did not ride in on a big white horse bearing the label of morals, values, justice, intolerance, Christianity and rightousness, and rammed it down our throats claiming the "moral high ground" while they do a jig on the constitution and bill of rights.
This is super-duper, bible-thumping, double-wide hypocrisy on the part of the Republicans.

I think it's funnier when they cheat on their spouses, but scandals just aren't made for my amusement these days. *sigh*
He claims he's tolerant but he's insulting and abusive.
He claims he admits when he's wrong but he never does--either about his own sins or those of his precious Bush/Cheney.
He claims he doesn't lump together persons he disagrees with, yet during a discussion of the Terry Schiavo case he sank so low as to fling accusations of mother killing (which were inapplicable under the circumstances), simply to score imagined argument points, and then of course he refused to apologize.
His refusal to admit he's wrong, not his politics, is the strongest proof of his utter moral depravity.

Er, 'scuse me, but I've seen him admit to being wrong before. Namely, the first time we exchanged PMs, and that wasn't the only instance.
Not that the facts have any relevance in a blood feud like this one. Carry on.
