I think Ted Allen from QEFTSG wears his ring on his left ring finger also, so I don't think there's a set rule for how to wear it.
I wish I could be more help. Still, congrats!

Shamrock, I know a few people who wear rings. Some people deliberately wear it on their left to suggest marriage while just as many wear it on the right in defiance of that "hetero status."
I, personally, just think you should wear it on whichever hand it feels most comfortable. :)
And congrats.

My brother-in-law and his partner wear their partnership rings on their left hands.

i prefer the Joey and Chandler choice: partnership bracelets. They just called them "bracelet buddies" and switched wrists occasionally. Some people loved the various proposals of marriage on FRIENDS...i liked how sweet Joey was when he gave Chandler the bracelet. They're such a cute couple!

Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys. "I guarantee that we'll have tough times. I guarantee that at some point one or both of us will want to get out. But I also guarantee that if I don't ask you to be mine, I'll regret it for the rest of my life..."

my partner and I are not "married" yet, nor do we live together, though we are comitted. We wear the rings on the right hand on the pinky finger.

I have a nervous habit which causes me to switch my ring from right hand, ring finger to left hand, ring finger incessantly. However, I'm most comfortable with the ring on my right hand. My man wears it on his left.

I do the same thing Robbie... sometimes I even switch it to the pinky. But often just left-right-left-right.
