Zyla: I'm with you, sweetie! If we're starting in on straight plays (especially Shakespeare) I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play Hamlet. I guess that would sort of be possible, though. I mean, I've done Polonius, and for Hamlet I could just tape my chest and wear a wig (or cut my hair, whichever). : )

I agree with ShbrtAlley44 about the male roles in 1776. I would also LOVE to play Charles Guiteau. These are sadly hindered by my femaleness
If Percy Blakeney were in Les Mis....

Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

If I could tap...Peggy Sawyer.
If I could sing soprano...Christine Daae.
If I were a man...Georg Novak in She Loves Me.
If I were a fat man...Nicely Nicely Johnson.
If I had a fat chance in a frozen hell...Elphaba. What I wouldn't give for entrance applause.

Amneris (Aida)... I love roles that start out funny but develope to become more and more serious during the show!
And "My Strongest Suit" should be a lot of fun to perform!
In the real world the only people who burst into song are the hopelessly deranged...

Dodger in Oliver
Gavroche in Les Mis

I guess those little orphan boys just have an appeal for me.

And Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde or Sally in Cabaret. I'm a little young at the moment. There are others of course that I'll think of later.
