Love the pic!
Pat Suzuki is just cool. I love seeing her interviewed on R&H stuff. She still looks great.

Besty did you see her interview on the Flower Drum Song Special Edition DVD. Good stuff. She's just so feisty and she said some really nice things about Nancy Kwan who played her role of "Linda Low" in the film version.
I wish I could get my hands on some of her old RCA Victor recordings. She really possessed such a rich, powerful voice.

Posted: 8/15/13 at 9:51pmI loved her interview on the Flower Drum Song DVD, and also on the R&H documentary a couple of years ago. She's very feisty. I wonder if she still performs at all.

OMG! I had forgotten about that! How extraordinary that was--to see someone I had worshiped from a 33 1/3 RPM LP, live, in a cabaret space the size of a refrigerator.

I forgot that too. I would forget everything if you weren't around to remind me.
Now where was I, where was I...?
Ah, yes. At the villa of the Baron De Signac...
