I don't disagree with that at all, if in fact he broke the law.
What I've been reading is that in other photos of the same incident, she clearly is wearing panties.
But if he broke the law, I say have at it.

Frankly, I don't think he is all that bright and I don't think he has many people looking out for his best interest.He was attacked last year by a member of the Black Eyed Peas and he immediately took to his site and cried and bitched about it. I thought to myself,if he was really assaulted why is he dumb enough to talk about it publicly? Explore his legal options and don't discuss it.I don't think he takes this seriously.If so, he is poorly advised. He should have kept his mouth shut,talked to a lawyer to see what his options are and how screwed he is. Instead,he decided to make some drama out of it and dismiss it for laughs. Not sure they should label him a sex offender or anything but I do think he needs something like this to make him grow up and rethink some of the crap he posts in the near future.

Then charge him with criminal stupidity, if that's on the books somewhere.
But if he didn't actually commit a crime, I can't really get behind a phony prosecution just to teach him a lesson.
But if a crime was committed, he should be held accountable.

But disseminating a nude photo (even photoshopped with a vagina where a pair of panties really are) of an underaged person IS a crime. We may hate that it is. We may love that it is. We may feel 'eh' about it. But it's a crime.
And if it is photoshopped, then Miley Cyrus shouldn't be charged with anything. Creepy or not.

Yes, I am aware and agree: even photoshopped is a crime. In which case, throw his ass in jail.
I haven't really researched this or anything, but I read somewhere a claim that the photo was neither nude nor altered; It just looked like she was panty-less. But if even that is a crime, then again: throw his ass in jail.

Gotcha! I knew you were kidding...but, after so many starlettes being caught sans panties, I think it's important to note that underaged Miley Cyrus didn't show her bathing suit parts.
Frankly, I don't know how one could be so stupid as to do something like this. If this, indeed, happened.

I understand your point Luscious and I would normally agree. I hate seeing someone's life and livlihood ruined, but Perez' never will be. He will have fans stick up for him, he makes plenty of money, etc. now...if they take his website away? not so sure if he can get by on appearances. He has done some damage to others so I am glad he may be punished in the end. He is just a liar and a snake. He knew full well what he was doing. Hey may just get a strong warning over this.
What I loathe is when, say a 17 year old boy has consensual sex with his 15 year old girlfriend, her mother flips out, charges him and his life is ruined. forever on a sex registry. i know that is not porn, but you get the idea.

I don't actually think he has many 'fans' to support him. Millions visit his website for the gossip but absolutely loathe him. The comments on his page are 99% negative, and often very nasty.
He needs the book thrown at him to give him a serious reality check. Not sure what he can be charged with, but he really shouldn't be able to get away with it. If he weren't 'famous', he certainly wouldn't.
End of the day, Perez knowingly publicised and distributed inappropriate images of a minor. He didn't know whether it was real or fake, but he DID know she was underage and that was a serious f*ck up.
