Perez Hilton on the View

I just caught his interview with the ladies and I was wondering what exactly he has said or done that was so hurtful to some celebrities? And who are the children he has gone after? They all seemed to be pretty POed with him and were giving him advice about being able to take what he dishes out. Anyone else catch this?

He's annoying, but generic. He draws on pics of celebrities, normally a "white fluid" coming out of somebody's mouth, or words like "Hag" or "Hack" on the pics. He seems to like going after Avril Lavigne the most right now. He said that Britney Spears' youngest son looked "slow," and that Adam Sandler's baby was fat, Rumer Willis is "fug," etc.

Oh. I just went on his site and after about a page of his ridiculous jargon I was fed up. Why is he famous?

I find his site pretty despicible and childish.

Some of the other blogs are at least clever about how they make fun of celebrities.

He also went on and on about how Billy Joel's daughter (who is something like 15 or 16) was ugly (which she is clearly not), and how it's a "shame" she didn't inherit Christie Brinkley's looks. Why is that necessary? The girl hasn't even been putting herself out there.

He went to Tisch for drama. That mug isn't exactly camera-friendly, so he began writing about the famous people he so badly wanted to be.

Lame.

Does it amuse anyone else that the caricatures he uses of himself on the site make him appear to be half the man he is?

It seems really strange to me he doesn't have a personal trainer these days. He might be a d-lister, but he looks really sloppy to me. No exactly someone who can point fingers.

Ugh. I find Perez completely obnoxious. Mario Cantone I can watch 24 hours a day, though. I love him on (and off) The View.

I've always thought of Perez Hilton as a Michael Musto wanna be.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I think Perez Hilton is a total mediawhore, and unfunny to boot, but re: Alexa Ray Joel, she's like 21 or 22 years old or so, and a performer/recording artist in her own right, so she has actually been putting herself out there in the publicity machine. Not that it's cool to say too bad so sad because she doesn't look like her mother, but I think that's totally diff than him calling Adam Sandler's (1 year old?) child fat, or Britney's (2 year old) child retarded, or whatever brilliant words of wisdom Perez has this week.

So him making fun of the star's kids is what they were refering to when they were saying about stars are one thing, but kids are another?

I was confused by that.
