Phantom PMs ?

has anyone else had long-deleted private messages show back up in their inbox? i had six PMs dating back to july 2005 magically reappear even though i deleted them months ago. and, strangely, all of the PMs are from the same person.

It's hard for me to tell, as I never delete PMs for some reason. Yikes. What a mess.

I had it happen a while ago RobbO. I wonder if it occurs when the mods read your PMs. Hmmmmmm

it might be. they were all from bwaysinger from july thru december 2005. and we all know that singer is a "marked man."

Not sure why deleted PMs resurfaced - you can always send a PM to Rob to ask though.

And for the record - PMs are encrypted and are not able to be read by the moderators. Thank you and have a nice day.

nah, it's not important enough to bother rob with. just curious. it happened once before with one PM but this was several and all from the same person. i just thought it odd.

RobbO, that happened to me a few months ago. Messages that Glebb and I had sent, and read, suddenly reappeared in his Inbox.

It was a bit disconcerting, but it never happened again...

And, it was just messages between us. Not random messages from lots of people.
