Didn't want to go off on too much of a tangent with this on the Wedding thread, so here's a new thread to post some of my favorite images captured from the designer's web site (http://www.philiptreacy.co.uk/)
Editing to add one I failed to insert earlier:
I do believe this is the designer himself on the right in this next one. Looks like he's a man who enjoys a good laugh. (All the way to the bank I imagine. lol)

That is him. I remember him from the last season of Project Runway when they had to design dresses to go with his crazy hats. Everyone was "oohing" and "aahing" over what a genius and creative visionary he is and all I could see was absolute ridiculousness being touted as "high fashion." And as pretty much the entire wold laughs over Princess Beatrice's hat the fashion world will continue to try to tell people that these hats are art and should be taken seriously.
His hats are a version of the Emperor's new clothes.

Didn't Prince Andrew's daughters realize those hats made them look like Tele Tubbies ?
Kinda thought that was their point Dollypop. Big ole razzbery for not having their mum there. They have their mother's taste and their father's intelligence and BOTH of their lack of discretion.
The point of couture fashion is about clothes as an art rather than what you would pick up on sale from the GAP.
Just resurrecting this thread long enough to point out that the infamous hat was donated to charity and is being auctioned off on ebay right now - with proceeds going to UNICEF and CHILDREN IN CRISIS. Current bidding now exceeds $33,000.00!

And it sold for £81k , which means a profit of £80k to her nominated charities.
Maybe the elder Yorklet knew what she was doing all along.
