I'm going to fly Southwest as often as I can now - especially now that they're coming to Newark.
Pilot Holds Plane for Grandfather Of Murdered Toddler
I wish I wasn't reading this at work. I'm trying very hard not to cry.
Does anyone else watch the Lifetime series AIRLINE? It's a TV documentary which shows what it is like to work at Southwest.
I think working at an airline is probably one of the toughest customer service positions you can ever hold.
That show confuses me. I always found it so strange that Southwest wants a show filmed about them, since 70% of the time it portrays the airline to be one o the most ghetto ass airlines ever with some of the most ridiculous policies and just plain nasty staff and crew.
Nasty staff & crew? I've only seen one instance of that portrayed on the show, but it was from a plane technician and not an agent...
I give kudos to the company for allowing their business to be filmed in such a manner. It definitely shows a fair-balanced perspective. When it is their fault, they own up to it. When they're just doing their job and it's the customer's fault (which most of the time it is), it shows you what the employees have to deal with on a daily basis.
Interesting. From a consumer view, it makes me never want to use that airline.
