Posted: 8/24/05 at 2:40pmDo they transfer to your iPod, or can you only play them on iTunes? If so, where are they stored on the iPod? I can't find them!

Posted: 8/24/05 at 2:50pmOkay, I'll try that. I thought they should (and probably did) transfer over, but I just can't figure out where they went over to.

Posted: 8/24/05 at 3:09pmSee, right now I'm trying to figure out how 200+ tracks went missing in a simple copy-paste transfer of my collection from my old computer to my new one. So I'm feeling the iTunes pain.

They should be on your ipod -- look under Playlists for Podcasts, or under Albums for the specific name of the one you downloaded. (I know for sure it'll be under Albums)...

I'm going to ask the dumbest question possible, but I've been wondering it for awhile, and you guys won't bite me, right?
What exactly is a podcast?

Posted: 8/24/05 at 6:31pmIt's like a recorded radio show which is available for download in mp3 format. So if you subscribe, you'll get a new show every week (or whatever time interval). I subscribe to Baseball Prospectus, for istance, and get a download full of interviews and commentary every week.

Yes, they do transfer to your iPod.
Our church is now making the sermons available via iTunes podcasting.

My friend keeps telling me how great Mugglecast is, and I just downloaded a few. I'm sort of wondering the same thing, actually.
I had never had much interest in the Podcast thing, until I realized that the American Theatre Wing's Downstage Center interviews were made into Podcasts. They're kind of nice to have.
Thanks for your help, guys. Maybe I just forgot to synch my iPod since downloading these? *headdesk* I'm losing my mind.
