WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush's approval ratings have sunk to a personal low, with only a third of Americans saying they approve of the way he is handling his job, a national poll released Monday said.
In the telephone poll of 1,012 adult Americans carried out Friday through Sunday by Opinion Research Corporation for CNN, 32 percent of respondents said they approve of Bush's performance, 60 percent said they disapprove and 8 percent said they do not know.
That's a significant drop from the way Americans perceived the president a year ago. In a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll carried out April 29-May 1, 2005, Americans were split on their assessments of Bush's performance, with 48 percent saying they approved and 49 percent saying they disapproved.

And still my parents remain part of the 32%.
And yet, strangely, mine do not.
My brother, however, does.
I think my younger brother does, too. When I saw him 2 weeks ago, he had the Fox News Channel on. Ugh!!

I thought your parents were children of God.
How sad to see how easily they are swayed by the gay agenda infiltrating our schools.
(and other war metaphors)
sadly, my sister too........

Watching Fox News isn't necisarily a sign. I watch it sometimes (usually to laugh at the king of mental deficency Bill O'reilly)
Imagine walking into a room... a party... a classroom.... down the street... anywhere and KNOWING that 2 out of every 3 people don't like ya...
well with the senate and house elections coming up this can only help the Democrats. We just need to get out there and vote and encourage others to vote. It's important to win back the senate and house so we can maybe change some things in government and investigate the Bushies more agressively. I know I'll be voting.
I'm glad that other people are realizing what most of us on this board realized 6 years ago.
Zoneace, if only that were the case with my brother. Unfortunately, it's not.
PJ, your title made me think of Ann Richards' famous quote (about daddy Bush, but it applies to sonny boy even better):
"Poor George. He can't help it. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth."
I'm crying as I type this!

32% are still behind "The Decider." and will drop some more soon.

Um, I think I'm in the minority here. I actually like Dubya.
""Poor George. He can't help it. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth.""
Who cares? John Kerry is much richer than George Bush ever was. So is John Edwards, for that matter.
And I'll stop there before I accidently insult someone.

and that's why your opinion isn't valid.

So all of a sudden my opinion isn't valid just because I'm not in the minority?

No, your opinion isn't valid because you support an complete moron who is advocating the destruction of the planet, the creation of a theocracy and who hates fags. thats why. Your opinion wasn't valid when you were in the majority. Now that you are in the minority, the invalidness of your opinion is just more obvious.

Wait a second. Whatever did I do to make my opinion invalid in the first place?

"Um, I think I'm in the minority here. I actually like Dubya."
that, right there.
"Who cares? John Kerry is much richer than George Bush ever was. So is John Edwards, for that matter."
No, I don't think so.
And, Edwards made his own money. Kerry married into money, technically it is not his money.
