Good point. But it still doesn't answer my question are these secrets fact or fiction?
Not that it would make a difference. Actually, I would rather they were fiction. The result of talent and imagination.

Well I can't imagine that they are all real. I mean human nature being what it is, it's safe to say that some have grains of truth with some creative fiction mixed in. And like you initially said how do we know you're/they're real? We don't. To me, they don't need to be products of real life experiences to be powerful and moving.
