Roxy...your outrage is sooo over-done. You've been on this board for years telling anyone and everyone that you don't vote. So this year we're supposed to know that you voted for McCain?

But that's beside the point. The question asked was if you support Gay Marriage? Somehow, you avoided that easily answerable and very direct question, by deflecting to your voting record..or lack thereof.

I do however give you credit for returning to this thread. Most of the time when someone asks you a question, you're never seen again.

Have a nice night.

I highly doubt gay marriage is going to happen in PA right now. Yes, the state went blue in the past couple of elections and Specter switched parties to stay in tune with his electorate, but the state legislature? Totally different story.

Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are the blue areas in the state and everywhere else is red, and the latter utterly hate the cities and their liberal agendas blah blah blah. Progress is being made on converting state legislators to supporting gay rights, but it's a slow process. I find NJ a much more likely possibility for bringing gay marriage to the mid-Atlantic region.

Zone. You did it again. You do not answer & instead throw a red herring into the mix. I did not read his post. Sounds downright eerie that I did not answer it. Very Scary Woo boy. I suggest a congressional investigation to answer your vital question.

You are a piece of work Zone

Back to the topic of the thread. The NYS Legislature theme song - "Send In The Clowns"

Roxy--my partner and I have been together for 15 years, one year longer than Adelaide and Nathan.

If the New York Senate passes marriage, we are going to get married.

IF we were to invite you to the wedding, would you and Mrs Roxy come? To the service as well as the reception? Of course, you would only be welcome if you considered our marriage every bit the equal of your own.

IF we were to invite you, would you come?

Interesting that there STILL has been no response to PJ. What's the matter Roxy? Don't you think PJ deserves an answer? Or is he not equal enough for an answer? What's the problem roxy? you were asked a direct question by Pj (now twice) and you've avoided it (now twice).

I saw my State Senator Carl Kruger in the bagel store on Sunday when the Daily News had those two clowns on the cover at the Yankee game
He avoided everyone's eyes. He's on on the right leaning Dems
who is opposed to gay marriage. He does have Orthodox Midwood

Me I've been on the record for four years

Hey Zone

Stick it where the sun doesn't shine. By the way, after your rant on another thread you may need to consider electro shock therapy or to take some tranquilizers.

Hmm and yet Roxy STILL doesn't answer PJ's question.

Roxy, it is a simple yes or no. Do you believe that gay people have to the right to marry the person they love and receive the same benefits and protections as a heterosexual married couple?

We have a way to go before we reach California's fiscal state.

The good thing about this is it stops the drunken sailor spending of these guys.

So, because those assholes on the GOP side didn't show up, there will be no vote on marriage equality today.

I will say that if it IS true that none of the votes by the Senate are legal if the Assembly is not also in session, then it's just as well the vote didn't happen.

But they need to figure it out. They need to get to work.
