Emmy voting is just the weirdest in the world. I still think it's incredibly absurd that they pick everything based on ONE episode. This is not film acting, it's TV acting. You need to give the award based on the craft of being able to do great work 10-24 episodes a season (depending on the show, network), let your character grow (whether you are a writer, actor, show-runner, etc), see how the story flows, understand certain choices, not just simply watch one episode and decide.
I can't believe Sarah submitted "Freedom," that's an awful choice. I know they submitted it as the Best Drama episode which is understandable, it's an incredibly well-crafted episode. I can see why Dempsey submitted it and why Pompeo did, but Ramirez? She had no Emmy moment in it. Sandra Oh was smart enough to submit "The Becoming." Oh well.
I am pulling for Wilson to win though I doubt she will.

I definitely agree that Pushing Daisies and 30 Rock should be nominated for best comedy series. I love Family Guy too, but I'm not sure if it will be able to win or get nominated.
Grey's Anatomy had some very good moments this season, but it also had its flaws, so I would be glad if it did get a nomination, but I'm sort of doubting it will.
And yeah, Sara Ramirez should definitely nominated another episode over the finale. It was a good episode, and she did get some quality air time (Okay, maybe I'm just biased to her,) but it was not her best performance of the season. Also, the way nominating goes, I really sort of had a feeling that she had no chance anyway because she is still considered a nobody in the acting world, which is unfortunate. I mean, people do know who she is obviously, but I don't see that she has a huge fanbase. But she definitely has me one million percent. :)
