Vice-President Joseph Biden.
Secretary of State William Jefferson Clinton.
Supreme Court Justice Hillary Rodham Clinton.
I get all tingly with delight at the thought.
In a recent interview HRC virtually ruled out the SCOTUS. I think it'd be a great fit, and maybe she had to say what she did for polical reasons. I don't see WJC as SecState, although I could see him as UN Ambassador. He can't be in the line of succession, right?
I agree that Hillary would be a great justice.
I can't see Obama wanting Bill, though. That's like--I don't know--the Beaver growing up to be president and getting stuck with Eddie Haskell as secretary of state.
Ha, Reginald! I see your point, but I still like the idea.
Bill Clinton is too smart and seasoned for Obama NOT to use him in some part of his administration.
Oh, Tulita, I LOVE the idea! Smart people running the country? Pile 'em up and count me in.
I'd just kind of feel sorry for Obama to have Bill stealing his thunder.
Obamas pretty charismatic. I think he could hold his own! :)
My favorite part is that it would make Andrew Sullivan's head explode like a Halloween pumpkin meeting blacktop.
I never hesitate to hire people smarter than me. It's the best way to learn and grow. Plus they make YOU look good.
When will people get "wise" to that?

Hillary has said she'll be happy to stay in the Senate -
"Bloom where you're planted".
Nothing wrong with that. Look at Ted Kennedy.
I could see Bill C. as U.N. Ambassador.
And if Obama wants a Republican in the cabinet, maybe he gan find a job for Arnold Schwartzenegger, who can't run for governor again (term limits)and who, after all, isn't a "real" Republican.

Bill Richardson for Secretary of State!!!
Isn't energy Arnold's forte? And hasn't he said that he'd be willing to serve in an Obama administration?
Hillary swore she wasn't going to run for president, too. (Not that I minded. I voted for her in the primary!) They ALL do that.
No one wants to say, 'Yes, once Barack Obama is president I'm out of the Senate faster than you can say 'You betcha'!"
A) It's bad form to "presume" and seem cocky about who is going to win.
B) WE may love Hillary, but lots of people don't. That's the plight of EVERY politician. So rather than alienate OR promise something "undeliverable," it's better to wait until the election is over and whatever THE NEW PRESIDENT wants, THE NEW PRESIDENT gets.
C) Hillary's saying something like, "I'd love to be a member of President Obama's cabinet or a Supreme Court Justice" is like saying to your boyfriend, "I'm committed to you with all my heart...until someone better comes along!"
I have no doubt that she will hold an esteemed position within the new administration. She was a total pro once it was apparent that Obama would clinch the nomination. She was brilliant at the convention. I love her! (Oh my god, I'm gushing!)
