Looks like Senate Republicans are trying to justify extending concealed carry privileges by claiming that the GLBT community can protect themselves from bashing.

If only they cared that much about the right to marry.

I don't have a problem with people legally having guns, but to try to say it would be a defense against gay-bashing is bull***t. This is just the Republicans trying to get gays on their side.

Maybe if they came out in favor of things that really matter to us, like....MARRIAGE EQUALITY, we could take their concern as genuine. Until such time - their ploy for support is just that - a ploy.

A better and simpler solution would be for them to stop bashing us.
