I continue to think that this issue is the turning point - it just remains to be seen if we're ready to turn that corner.

Personally, I can't maintain relationships where such fundamental issues are at odds. But, that's just me.

I feel for the pain of having to deal with these things bubbling to the surface. We all have a tendency to try to go about our business, allowing the disenfranchisements to take a back seat to human bonding and connection.

BUT, lines in the sand eventually must be drawn - and these issues are of a nature that they can override whatever personal need is in place.

Stand tall, stand firm, and don't allow into your life that which you cannot justify in the long run.
