Any of you health gurus have a favorite protein powder you'd recommend? I've just been using a generic brand from CVS.
What are you using it for? Muscle gain, weight gain, weight loss?
I would avoid ones that are mainly soy protein as that's been linked to hormone imbalances in men. Stick with whey and casein proteins, preferably a mixture of both. Whey absorbs quickly. So it's good for right after a workout to build muscle. Casein absorbs slowly throughout the day. So it's better for keeping you full, meal replacement, etc.
I use Nitrean. I find it has a good balance for me. Avoid anything at GNC stores as it's all overpriced crap. I'm not familiar with the CVS brand. Compare the label info with Nitrean. You may find you don't need to switch.

Thanks for the tip. I've been looking at Whey. Usually I wake up in the morning, drink some water, run, then do a shake.
