Push-Up Cake Pops in NYC?

So, my friend's birthday is coming up and he's obsessed with cake (aren't we all?), and I want to go get cake-pops. I figured there had to be someplace in NYC we could go and get some, but I can't find anything.

The one and only time I ever experienced cake pops, they were undercooked and absolutely disgusting. They very thought of them makes me nauseous. There might be good ones out there, but I'd certainly not be inclined to choose them over a cake from a reputable bakery.

Well, the recipe for cake pops is to crumble cake and mix it with frosting, so the consistency is odd. I was not a fan.

I have never seen the push-up ones for retail sale. I know you can order the push up things and make them yourself.
