Re: JUST IN TIME is going out on a Level 6 tour at $995/week. If a show this successful qualifies for Level 6, what exactly is the point of the tier system?
I think people aren’t understanding that that is the base salary not what people will be getting paid. Also I’m pretty sure people were flocking to the Wiz tour for the names. So they do matter, but I think this will sale just fine. Word of mouth will help it. Just curious how the production will look.

I don’t feel like the show itself is all that exciting. But I’ve only ever seen the off Broadway version.
2026-2027 Season Tour Launches
They just held auditions but that doesn't really mean much. It was a great cast here in Chicago besides Middle Noah. He just didn't have the vocal range.

I would imagine this is a pretty straight forward, simple show production wise. Maybe the workshops gave them enough inspiration to not need to take it anywhere.
Disney will launch North American tour of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST in 2025
It looks and feels very cheap. There is not much magic there. I expected a lot more from Disney and it feels like it really cheapens the brand.

I feel like the Wilson is a pretty solid venue for this because there aren't any extreme sides? It's a flat 2 story set so it should serve most of the audience. Not sure how else you'd design this unless they made the house more of a U shape so everyone could see parts of it?

Hard to say with Sunset because she also won Best Actress and it was a limited run anyway. But it did make a ton of money it's last few weeks. So it did help.
