2026-2027 Season Tour Launches
 Mar 1 2026, 07:55:42 AM

It’s indeed going Non-Eq and they’re casting now. I mean if the demand is there? Def not usual.

Cats: The Jellicle Ball to Broadway
 Feb 28 2026, 10:04:43 AM

I don’t get why this board is so negative. I’d imagine this will have wonderful word of mouth and sales will pick up quickly.

Donald Trump bioplay DONALD from THE LEHMAN TRILOGY author Stefano Massini sets UK premiere
 Feb 27 2026, 12:16:52 PM

Hated Lehman Trilogy. Could not imagine ever sitting through this.

The Outsiders
 Feb 21 2026, 12:53:45 PM

Agreed! Enjoyed the tour (terrible wigs) but was missing some memorable lines and heart from the book. Loved the direction but the score could have been trimmed.

Will Disney bring Hercules to Broadway?

I mean same director, no? Maybe stop using him…

 Feb 19 2026, 11:17:20 PM

Is it the same set or elevated?

Goodman’s Holiday to transfer?
 Feb 19 2026, 02:18:24 PM

They have a terrific day of rush on their website. Usually get tickets for about $20.

Next to Normal Broadway Transfer Fall 2026
 Feb 19 2026, 01:07:14 PM

Not to derail any further, but I think what happened was Nicole was sublime in an interesting/new revival and surrounded by interesting choices and cast. Where as Audra was also sublime but surrounded by ho-hum performances and stale direction.

Goodman’s Holiday to transfer?
 Feb 19 2026, 11:55:39 AM

I saw it last week at a matinee that was very well close to sold-out. I think I went in thinking it would be a light rom-com kind of vibe, but it was totally not. Very Succession and dealing with real topics like addiction, etc. Gorgeously staged. I could see this doing well at Roundabout or MTC.

The Rocky Horror Show Playbill Design

So curious to see his direction for this since Oh mary is such a hit but his other works (like the La Cage in Pasadena) were not praised.

New Sara Bareilles musical at Berkeley Rep in 2027; Michael Arden directing
 Feb 13 2026, 07:22:32 PM

I think Ruhl, Bareilles, Arden... those names combined comes across as prestige theater. I'm curious to see how this all shapes up because I loved the book but I'm not quite sure I thought "musical," so I'm happy to see how this new version comes to life.

Broadway Real Estate

I mean it worked in bigger spaces on its mini tour. It would be chilling in the intimate Booth.

2026-2027 Season Tour Launches

DiscoCrows said: "Someone on Reddit commented that they got audition materials for the show stating it’ll benon-eq, too."

100% will be non eq. Probably just that big video screen and that's it.

New Sara Bareillis musical THE INTERESTINGS to premiere at Berkeley in 2027; Michael Arden directing

Loved the book. Love the song "Enough" that she performed. Very excited for this.

GALILEO to Open at the Shubert Theatre, Fall 2026
 Feb 10 2026, 05:08:20 PM

This still doesn't really explain the sudden closure of HK, though?

Bug: Technical Spoilers?
 Feb 5 2026, 06:44:03 PM

I hate that I won't get to see this on Broadway and missed it in Chicago by a year. Sounds interesting.

Moulin Rouge to Close on Broadway
 Feb 5 2026, 06:42:51 PM

Glad it recouped. I want to Timbers to keep getting work. Love how he directs and knows how to do spectacle.

Musical adaptation of THE LOST BOYS.
 Feb 5 2026, 09:57:17 AM

Things feel different with sets lighting costimes emotional stakes etc.

For instance Happy Endings I loved all in the moment but I haven’t listened to any of it out of context.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY @ Shakespeare Theatre DC
 Feb 4 2026, 06:16:59 PM

Loved it in Chicago. I thought the transitions between scenes were a little long (maybe that's specific to Chicago) but I still really enjoyed it.

Ben Platt & Rachel Zegler - THE LAST FIVE YEARS (NYC/LA)
 Feb 4 2026, 09:52:34 AM

I’m just not sure those songs justify the space.
