[title of show] returning…

The show seems so tailored to those specific performers. I'd think they'd have to update the material somehow?

Evita stunt for nyc

I think I had this idea in another thread...

Whatever happened to the play of 'Brokeback Mountain'?

Never seen the movie, so I think I'll try and catch this at CST. But oof.

Official: Jamie Lloyd's EVITA to open on Broadway in Spring 2027

It was pretty easy to snag last minute Sunset tickets at a reasonable price so we shall see with this.

Does anyone have any predictions as to what show may move into the Lunt after DBH closes on June 28?

Seems interesting to go traditional proscenium for this show given its run at Arena. If it’s back to a traditional staging what makes this revival special?

"Warriors" the musical coming to Broadway

I think I agree. Except in Act 2 when the show sort of drags and I wish we could break up all the brown. But it totally works for the show.

I'm assuming the production is too big for any of the Public's spaces so it was probably deemed unnecessary to do a downtown run. I always wondered what Hamilton would look like if it had done a regular out of town try out and not been stuck with the limitations of the Public's space.

ILLINOISE heading back to Chicago in 2027 -- who's going?

It started at the Yard so I’d imagine it would stay that way but I’d love to see a whole new take.

Paranormal Activity Ready to Spook Broadway

Jordan Catalano said: "I feel fairly confident thatPatrick Heusinger will come to New York with this, so it’ll be really nice to have him back Broadway after 16 years."

He was excellent in Chicago and loved seeing him as a big fan of Next Fall (I think that’s the play?).

regardless, I think this is a good theater for it. A lot of the gags are to do with sight lines and this theater doesn’t have the boxes and stuff.

EVERY BRILLIANT THING Recoups on Broadway

So quick! Glad to see it!

CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY to have summer run at the Shubert

There have never been standards. It's business.

Dead Outlaw to Receive Chicago Premiere in February 2027 at Porchlight Theatre

Excited that that theater is getting some new life. Now we just need something at the Briar Street theater!

How often does the "let's transfer our Broadway show back to Off-Broadway" strategy work?

London is a different beast than NYC. Wages wise, Union wise, etc.

Six would need a Stage 42 vibe, it’s still a pop concert. I don’t think it would work as well in a tiny theater. I could see Oh Mary eventually shifting to maybe the theater across from The Public? Running for awhile on a variety of names.

Huntington Season/New Taub Pasek musical

That's a pretty damn stacked creative team!

Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 4/12/26

I think Dave Malloy would like to have a

Pink to Host the 2026 Tony Awards

Sure. I can understand your point, but I also don't think I get it? Like why be negative? This is a big deal for the Tony Awards and Broadway. So why cast a negative light on it? She's amazing. She's talented. She clearly cares for the community... I'm not seeing why you should have a negative opinion about it?

Also she's still selling out the same places those artists are playing so..

What’s Pink’s skill set and history in hosting? Besides the Kelly Clarkson show?"

Literally who gives a ****? She's a fun personality.

I was referring to the "hosting skill" comment. There are tons of "fun personalities" who are irrelevant. It's hilarious to see you people have a melt down over an opposing op

Could Lea Michele be the next Rose in GYPSY on Broadway?

As a non-Stan, yeah she would crush it. Too soon but def.
