A new production of Great Expectations is opening. Kathleen Chalfant is Miss Havisham which is excellent casting.

But they have Christian Campbell as Pip. Wasn't Pip a kid or am I confusing this with Oliver?

Pip starts out as a kid, but he is a young adult thoughout most of the book. To give you an idea, Ethan Hawke played him in the most recent movie adaptation.

you are right. Pip is a kid, but the book spans many years. we do get to see Pip grow into adulthood about halfway through the book.
