How do you pronounce the following word and which syllable is stressed?

Liraz

I was about to say the same thing - probably LEE-RAZ. Stress the EE part if you want to sound American, stress the A roll the R if you want to be more "authentic?"

It's actually a very popular name here in Israel. You pronounce it LEE-RAZ, like people have said. Actually, LEE means "for me", and there are quite a few names that begin like that - Liat (you are for me), Liron (joy for me) and..my name, Leehe (she is for me).

Yes LEE is popular. My brother's name is pronounced LEE-OR (my light) and mine is a LEE name too but ...ummm, it doesn't translate as well. HA

Yup, as is mine, but more commonly spelled as Liat in Israel. "You are mine"
