R.I.P. Jayne Meadows

She had a good life and was a nice person.  When I first met her she was a regular customer of Theodore's dinner ( which later became Silver Spoon, and now is something else in LA).  I would see her there constantly with Shelly Winters.

Jayne and her husband, Steve, were lovely, warm, intellectually astute and truly witty people.  She will be sorely missed, as is he, by those lucky enough to have known them.

I knew her best from the 1985 made for TV movie of ALICE IN WONDERLAND, which I own and love and have seen multiple times.

One of my most cherished autographs i have is this photo that she signed for me from 'Alice in Wonderland' with an awesome inscription!
