R.I.P. James Avery ('Fresh Prince of Bel-Air')

James Avery, who played Uncle Phil on 'The Fresh Prince Bel-Air', passed away last night at age 65 due to complications of heart surgery. Sad to hear about this. He was a great actor and seemed like such a kind man. R.I.P.

Sad news. I saw him in an August Wilson play in L.A. 6 or 7 years ago and he was terrific. A commanding stage presence. R.I.P. James.

Try to stay classy Mr. Midwest. I know it's difficult.
