I think this may be the only show tune she ever recorded:
Patti Page: 'Try to Remember'
Awwww...
Wasn't she in "Elmer Gantry" or was that Janis Paige? I forget.

Very sad news. I loved her singing.
The musical based on her life, "Flipside," just ended its run at 59E59 this past weekend.
Carlos, she was in Elmer Gantry, and she was very effective in a small role.
I loved her voice, and she was such a huge star in the '50s. She sold over 100 million records. "Tennessee Waltz" alone sold 10 million.
This album re-issued by Verve is one of my faves!
She does a couple of musical theater classics (The Lady is a Tramp and Love for Sale) on it.
Then, of course, there's this classic Patti Page song featured in "The Adventures of Pricilla, Queen of the Desert."

Patti Page will be missed. I met her a couple of times in Nashville.
Patti would have hated you, Jim.
You racist piece of crap.
