Surprisingly enough, a GOOD comedy has been released during the February winter season. How awesome is that?
RENO 911! MIAMI is absolutely hilarious and, oddly enough, fits fine in an 80 minute format. There are a few drags here and there but, for the most part, it's a worthy pseudo-sequel to WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER, which was another movie starring most of the cast of THE STATE.
As an added bonus, there is an awesome parody of a Robert Altman tracking shot.

Yay! I'm so glad! I love Reno 911 and hoped this movie was good! They have been hysterical promoting it-- they appeared on my local morning news in character giving crime stopper tips for travelers. Awesome!

I was also a little annoyed with all the boobies, but it was still hilarious!!!
The scene when Jones walks in/by all the windows was CLASSIC!!!!
Terry from Tacos Tacos Tacos Tacos (I just love the name) was great too...my favorite line was, "that was the best flag day."

Posted: 2/24/07 at 4:16pmIf you are interested, the cast of Reno 911 will be on the Rachael Ray show this Thursday, March 1st. I was at the taping last week and they were hilarious; they made disgusting food and Rachael actually ate some of it and almost puked off camera!
