Roleplaying is less creepy than fanfic.

My mother is a member of a Taylor Hicks message board. (don't ask) There are people on there who write sexual fanfic about him. I mean, I have seen some written about characters, but he is a person. His fans are nutty!

In my defense, I have not written any since I was 16. Doesn't mean I don't read it. I do agree that it is creepy and gross when it is written about specific people as opposed to characters. Especially if it is sexual fanfic about Taylor Hicks. *shudders*

PS--speaking of avatars, that Miss Pitt is almost too cute to be believed.

My ex-girlfriend discovered a fanfic that I wrote about The L Word (first season) on a site that we both checked. She knew I had written it even though I used some random name. It was a very memorable night.

Eh I'm guilty of having read some "Bare" fanfic. I don't find it creepy unless the person writing it, puts herself in the fic and has the characters fall in love with her.
