Um, for the record, I'm not really sure why your thread is apparently so much more irrelevant than anything else posted on the off topic board. Ignore the *insert an extremely harsh word here* people who just can't live if they aren't complaining about something. Many sympathies to you if you were so upset you felt the need to go on to an internet message board and get them. I will gladly dispense five seconds of my time to feel sad for another living thing that has used up its short time on Earth, even if it is wasting precious off topic board space.

Roninjoey does not actually believe he can talk to the dead, particular dead animals who may or may not be able to understand people in the first place. His statement was meant partly in jest in reference to an idea in popular culture that a person must give a eulogistic generalized statement sending off the dead when referencing them. He also would like to discourage the idea that if dogs were to speak English, they would substitute rs for ls, previously to Scooby Doo a primarily Asian stereotype. He is quite sure that if a dog were able to speak English, he would be clever enough to leave his rs and ls in the proper spots.

I have a feeling that you would never have posted this if Abby hadn't been a particularly good dog and your good buddy. I'm very sorry that she's gone and that you'll be missing your friend. (She was really very beautiful!)
