The Descendants star passed away in his sleep this morning from a seizure caused by an ongoing medical condition. I stopped watching Disney Channel before he was on, but the fact that he was only 20 years old is heartbreaking. No one should die that young.

He was devastatingly young and very talented. The final Descendants movie airing next month will be a bittersweet event for all. I am sure there will be a tribute included, but it is always difficult when kids have to learn about and come to terms with grief.

Very sad. My daughter is a big fan of descendants and Jesse. He was very talented and seemed to be an amazing dancer. Thoughts and prayers for his family and friends. Hopefully Disney honors him.

I’ve been numb all day. Loved him on Jessie and in Descendants. He was an incredibly gifted dancer too. Gone way too soon. Wow. Rip.
