Robert Hegyes, who played Juan Epstein, one of the Sweathogs alongside John Travolta on Welcome Back, Kotter, has died at age 60.

I was disappointed when I got to high school and the boys didn't have chest pelts like Juan Epstein's.
I hope Epstein's Mother sends a condolence card.

As an alumni of the same college theater program, I had the opportunity to meet Bob on several occassions, I remember him as a warm, sincere and geniunely funny man.
