Orangeskittles, me too. How sad! She was easily the coolest person I share a birthday with, and she was so mightily talented too.

No one danced better on screen than Cyd Charisse. I really loved her.

My heart just sank. I have always loved her, and always will.
What an enormous talent. Her dancing is some of the best ever put on film.

The news seems to be instead fascinated with the death of Tim Russert. (May he rest in peace.)
Turner Classic Movies will come to the rescue and show the respect she deserves.

A classy, gorgeous, incredibly talented lady. One of my idols when I was growing up. She and Fred, dancing in Central Park, in The Band Wagon:
