No, JohnBoy, I simply have critical faculties and therefore was able to assess Mr. Sales's comments about another kids show that had material adults would also find funny and using the grey matter in my head, I was able to come to the conclusion that his criticisms were not only unfounded, but seemed tainted with the special kind of jealousy that arises when a performer feels as if time has passed him by.

Perhaps if you had said something remotely like that, I wouldn't have asked my question. Instead, you said:

I loved Soupy when I was a kid but he had some harsh and negative criticism of Pee-Wee's Playhouse after it premiered that I could never quite forgive.

It's your inability to forgive him that made me ask the question. Usually, when you have a contrary opinion, it doesn't involve forgiveness.
