I saw this crowd around my corner today. It seems the bakery was featuring "drunken negro cookies" which they claimed were Obama cookies.

The bakery and cookies were on the news a day or so after the inauguration.

WEll, I'm sorry then. I do not read every thread, and I guess I thought it was new news because the demonstration was today. How was I to know it was a delayed reaction?
So call the thread police, LOL!

Very old news. It was all over the new york papers and news channels.
Same bakery made some "dead goose" bakery product after Sully's crash-landing in the Hudson. The owner needs to get a sense of decency.

Perhaps it's not really that big a story? What's so special about someone using cheap, tasteless, attention-getting tactics? Just don't patronize the dump.
I am, however glad you posted this. I had not heard about it and it is a reflection of low-life American mentality. (Not that other places don't have their own brand of low-life mentality.) I am a writer and you never know what may come useful some day.
