I'm glad I saved that "Size Queens" Young Frankenstein thread because it's GONE!
Did it get nastier?
Nope.
I wonder why it was deleted?
So do I, but I'm usually surprised when deletions occur, so this is no shock.
Like a great piece of theatre that must close, so must all classic threads be deleted. Only the memory of those who experienced it will live...
Now, back to sushi!
I posted this on the main board in the thread about restaurants offering 15% discounts to lure people to the theatre district during the strike...
And the generous people at Bamboo 52 are offering a 10% discount if you show them the ticket for a cancelled performance! (per Corine's Corner)
BROADWAY IS DARK BUT WE ARE OPEN.
IF YOU ARE THE HOLDER OF A BROADWAY TICKECT THAT CAN NOT BE REDEEMED BECAUSE THE SHOW IS CANCELLED, SHOW US THE TICKET AND WE WILL GIVE YOU A 10% DISCOUNT ON THE TICKET HOLDERS BILL!

OT:
Do you think they would ever serve Ragu at Raku?
Just wonderin'
"I wonder why it was deleted?"
Hmm, I think if we give it a little thought, we can figure it out.
Why, Jane? Because it was blatantly promoting Corine's Corner? A site that is one of BWW's biggest competitors?

Greencastle - A Greencastle restaurant is open for business again after health inspectors shut it down when they found a deer carcass in the kitchen.
When I read about this I thought this might have been the legendary Raku, but none of the staff was sleeping anywhere near the deer carcass....
Complete story- WITH PICTURES!
Well, Joe. Now you've done it. The mere mention of the word "deer" now gets a thread deleted. Did you know that?
Goodbye, all!

Eeep! I forgot! I meant CAROL! There was a CAROL CARCASS in the kitchen! Preferrably Channing- to be served with corn.

That last comment was rude, crude and socially unacceptable.

I am sorry Dolly- it was a cheap shot. No one would want to see Carol Channing butchered and eaten- let's face it she'd be tough, stringy and have a distinctly "hammy" flavor.

I was tired of eating Kashi cereal for the last month and this Raku business has gotten to my brain so I reverted to my childhood cereal and now I'm

It could be like one of those furniture stores with three year "Going Out Business" sales signs in the window.
I WISH, WEXY.
It will be open Monday- Wed of next week.
My favorite hangout will be gone but who knows where Ray will open next.
It might not mean anything to you but I am sad about it.
Corine, what happened to never posting on BWW again?
